Former Chelsea midfielder Willian reportedly undergoes a medical at Arsenal ahead of his free transfer to the Emirates Stadium.

Willian has reportedly completed his medical with Arsenal ahead of his proposed summer switch to the red side of London.

The former Chelsea man confirmed on Sunday that he would be departing Stamford Bridge after a seven-year spell at the club, where he amassed 63 goals from 339 appearances across all competitions.

Willian has since been heavily linked with a move across the capital to Arsenal, and the Brazilian's move to the Emirates appears to be inching closer ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

According to the Evening Standard, Willian has now undergone his medical with the Gunners and is poised to put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Arsenal.

The signing of Willian would be Mikel Arteta's first acquisition of the summer, with the Spaniard supposedly keen to undertake a significant overhaul of his squad before his first full season in the Emirates dugout.

Willian's move to Arsenal will supposedly be completed by the end of the week.
