Team News: Jose Gimenez deputises for injured Miranda

Atletico Madrid replace the injured Miranda with Jose Gimenez for the visit of Olympiacos in the Champions League.

Jose Gimenez will start in defence for Atletico Madrid against Olympiacos after Miranda failed to shake off a thigh injury picked up on international duty with Brazil.

Diego Simeone's side, who will qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League with a win over the Greek giants, have Mario Mandzukic to lead their attack after the Croatian forward recovered from a neck injury sustained in the weekend win over Malaga.

Meanwhile, Olympiacos coach Michel must do without the services of defender Kostas Giannoulis for the game at the Vicente Calderon after the 26-year-old failed to shake off an abdominal injury.

Jimmy Durmaz is also missing for the visitors, but Ibrahim Afellay does start for the Greek side, who are level on points with Juventus going into the game.

Last year's beaten finalists have won three group games in a row since their opening-day defeat at the hands of Olympiacos.

Atletico Madrid: Moya, Godin, Ansaldi, Juanfran, Gimenez, Tiago, Koke, Raul Garcia, Turan, Gabi, Mandzukic

Olympiacos: Roberto, Maniatis, Botia, Elabdellaoui, Abidal, Masuaku, Milivojevic, Afellay, N'Dinga, Dominguez, Mitroglou
