Lionel Messi has reportedly rejected the idea of Barcelona moving to sign Red Bull Salzburg youngster Erling Braut Haaland next summer.
The Norwegian has enjoyed a remarkable run of goalscoring form so far this season, netting 11 goals in eight games domestically along with claiming a hat-trick on his Champions League debut against Genk.
Such achievements have led to reports suggesting that a number of top clubs, including Barcelona, are interested in the teenager.
According to a report from Spain, however, Messi is unconvinced by Haaland, who he believes has a notably different playing style compared with the players currently at Barcelona.
Ernesto Valverde has already made a considerable addition to his attack in the form of Antoine Griezmann, who joined for £108m in the summer, but the club is now looking a successor to the role of Luis Suarez.
Reports have claimed that both Manchester clubs, Real Madrid and Juventus have all established an interest in the youngster as well.
