Tito Vilanova praises Cesc Fabregas for his role in Barcelona's 4-1 win against Getafe in La Liga on Saturday.

Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova has praised midfielder Cesc Fabregas for his role in his side's victory over Getafe in La Liga on Saturday.

The Spain international midfielder started the game at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez and helped the Blaugrana to a comfortable 4-1 win.

"We came out very well from the beginning, and controlled the game at all times," said Vilanova. "We might even have scored one more.

"Fabregas showed great gusto and played very well. It's really not surprising though, given how well he has trained recently.

"He enjoyed a really great match alongside Xavi."

Barcelona are currently at the top of the league table with 12 points from four matches.
