Ethan Ampadu, Kenedy and Xavier Mbuyamba are all reportedly on the brink of securing transfers away from Chelsea on Thursday.
Given the influx of senior and young arrivals over the course of the summer, it has been left inevitable that the Blues will have to orchestrate outgoings for players who do not feature in the long-term plans of Thomas Tuchel.
Ampadu has featured on the substitutes' bench for a number of Premier League fixtures this season, including Tuesday's defeat at Southampton.
However, the Wales international has only been kept at Stamford Bridge due to a lack of central defenders, a situation not helped by the suspension of Kalidou Koulibaly and fitness issues with Reece James and Trevoh Chalobah.
Nevertheless, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Ampadu's loan switch to Spezia Calcio is close to being confirmed.

While the Serie A outfit are expected to possess an option to sign the 21-year-old on a permanent basis, it is unclear whether Chelsea will attempt to protect themselves by handing Ampadu a one-year contract extension.
Meanwhile, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Kenedy has arrived in Spain to complete a transfer to Real Valladolid.
Despite having been praised by Tuchel upon his return to the first-team squad in January, the Brazilian wide player was given just 129 minutes across three matches during the second half of 2021-22.
The 26-year-old has previously spent loan spells with Getafe and Granada, and he will link up with a Valladolid side who currently sit in 19th position in the La Liga table.
Mbuyamba is also heading out of Chelsea with Dutch journalist Mike Verweij saying that the defender will sign a three-year contract with FC Volendam.
The former Barcelona youngster will leave the West Londoners without making a first-team appearance in two years at the club.
