Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing to hijack Chelsea's attempts to sign Porto striker Hulk.
Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for the powerful 25-year-old this summer but have failed to agree a fee with the Portuguese champions, who are said to be demanding up to £56m for the player.
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas coached Hulk during his time in charge at Porto and is hopeful of tempting him to chose White Hart Lane over Stamford Bridge if a fee can be agreed, according to the Daily Mail.
Hulk, who has been included in Brazil's Olympic football squad, has been capped 13 times at senior international level.
