Paul Dickov: 'We need to continue our form'

Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov calls on his players to continue their recent form in order to avoid relegation.

Paul Dickov has called on his Doncaster Rovers players to continue their recent form in order to avoid relegation from the Championship.

Rovers, who drew 0-0 against promotion-chasing Nottingham Forest last time out, are currently on a three-game unbeaten run which has moved them five points clear of the bottom three.

"We have to make sure we continue our form," Dickov told BBC Radio Sheffield. "There have been a number of times this season, we have reacted well from a bad result for the next three or four games but then we have not done so well.

"With the run in we have and the season coming to a close, we now have to find a consistency to our form. The pleasing thing over the last three games is we have shown a consistency.

"You can get dragged back into the relegation scrap very quickly so we now need to concentrate and improve on our last three performances, as good as they have been, I still think there is room for improvement."

Doncaster are back in action this weekend with a home match against Sheffield Wednesday.
