Roberto Martinez: 'Leon Osman should be available against Sunderland'

Everton manager Roberto Martinez expects Leon Osman to be available for Saturday's trip to Sunderland in the Premier League.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that he expects Leon Osman to be fit for Saturday's trip to Sunderland in the Premier League.

The midfielder was forced off early during the Toffees' 3-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday with a cut above his eye.

"Knowing Leon, he will be ready and I will be very surprised if he doesn't make the squad for Saturday," Martinez told the club's official website.

Everton are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table.
