Saturday's Serie A predictions including Inter Milan vs. AC Milan

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Serie A action, including Inter Milan vs. AC Milan and Crotone vs. Juventus.

Napoli vs. Atalanta (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Record-breaking Atalanta BC tackle the first of seven games in 23 days, which could underscore their challenge for honours this season, as they visit Gennaro Gattuso's Napoli at Stadio San Paolo on Saturday afternoon.

Looking for a fourth Serie A win on the spin, the buoyant Bergamo side will encounter a Partenopei who themselves had scored an impressive eight goals in their opening two matches - before controversy struck.

We say: Napoli 2-2 Atalanta

Gasperini's commitment to attack knows no bounds, so it should be expected that La Dea will bring their sparkling brand of football to one of the grandest stages in Italian football.

Napoli boast a rich abundance of attacking talent themselves and this could be the time for expensive new recruit Victor Osimhen to really establish his credentials as their number one no. 9 by bagging at least one goal in an end-to-end encounter.

Our tipster partners are predicting that both teams will score (BTTS - yes).

Inter Milan vs. AC Milan (Saturday, 5.00pm)

The historic Derby della Madonnina takes place at San Siro this Saturday evening amid some of the most curious circumstances in its long and illustrious history.

This time, Inter Milan play 'hosts' at the famous old stadium they share with city rivals AC Milan, wracked by news of positive COVID-19 tests for several players - including ex-England winger Ashley Young.

Stefano Pioli's resurgent Milan side, meanwhile, have started the domestic season with three straight wins against modest opposition to sit atop the early Serie A standings and have progressed through the early Europa League rounds - though only by the skin of their teeth against plucky Portuguese outfit Rio Ave.

We say: Inter Milan 2-2 AC Milan

Inter's derby domination in recent times is under serious threat from their resurgent rivals this time. Defensive issues and selection concerns - particularly in the absence of Skriniar and Bastoni - may see the Nerazzurri finally come unstuck.

However, they are capable of scoring from any quarter and are still capable of slowing the Milan revival somewhat by snatching a point in challenging circumstances.

Watch sparks fly on the flanks and expect returning 'King' Zlatan to have a significant say in the outcome.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Sampdoria vs. Lazio (Saturday, 5.00pm)

An indifferent start to the new campaign and a mounting injury headache in defence hang over Simone Inzaghi's head, as his Lazio side travel to the Marassi for Saturday's game with Sampdoria.

Claudio Ranieri's Samp, meanwhile, had struggled for early momentum before a fine win in Florence last time out. Valerio Verre's late winner sealed a precious three points against Fiorentina following defeats to Juventus and newly-promoted Benevento - coached by Inzaghi's big brother, Pippo.

We say: Sampdoria 1-2 Lazio

Samp's early season form has been mixed to say the least and their recent record against their Roman visitors is appallingly bad.

Even in the throes of a mounting injury crisis at the back and shorn of their irrepressible goal-getter Ciro Immobile, Lazio can find the net at least once - with the tantalising prospect of Vedat Muriqi making an immediate impact alongside Joaquin Correa.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Crotone vs. Juventus (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Perennial champions Juventus face struggling Crotone on Saturday evening, in a monumental mismatch on all levels.

Juve's decade-long Serie A monopoly has been built upon the summary dismissal of such weak-handed foes and the promoted side, from Calabria, can only hope to keep the scoreline respectable at Stadio Ezio Scida.

We say: Crotone 1-4 Juventus

Despite turmoil arising in the wake of Cristiano Ronaldo's enforced quarantine, Juventus have far too much ability in their ranks to come unstuck against humble Crotone.

With the motivation of making up lost ground on Atalanta and AC Milan, Juve will go all out for goals and Crotone's sieve-like defence are in no position to repel them.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
