On Sunday, fourth-placed Alanyaspor will be aiming to extend their unbeaten run to nine games in all competitions when they face Kasimpasa in the Turkish Super Lig.
Meanwhile, the hosts will be looking to bounce back after suffering two consecutive defeats across league and cup competitions.
Match preview
Kasimpasa saw a seven-game unbeaten run in all competitions come to an end last weekend when they lost 1-0 away to Trabzonspor.
They then spurned an immediate opportunity to put that loss behind them in midweek as they fell to a 2-1 defeat against Gaziantep in the Turkish Cup.
In that contest, Mortadha Ben Ouanes gave Kasimpasa the lead, but the sides would go into the break level following Joao Figueiredo's equaliser.
With the cup tie heading towards extra-time, Kasimpasa were reduced to ten men following Ben Ouanes red card for handling on the goalline, resulting in Alexandru Maxim scoring from the spot to win the game for Gaziantep.
With only two points separating themselves and the relegation zone, Sunday's hosts will have to put the cup defeat behind them as they refocus on their battle to remain in the top flight.
As for Alanyaspor, they are fighting it out for European qualification and ahead of the weekend's round of fixtures, they find themselves in fourth place.
Last weekend, they drew 1-1 with Galatasaray after Wilson Eduardo saw his opener cancelled out by Kerem Akturkoglu, and Alanyaspor held on to claim a point despite playing the final 18 minutes with 10 men following Juanfran's red card.
They followed that draw with a penalty shootout win over Adana Demirspor in the Turkish Cup after Erhun Oztumer equalised following another Eduardo opener.
Alanyaspor will enter Sunday's fixture full of confidence, with the visitors currently boasting the second-best away record in the league.
Francesco Farioli's side have found the net with ease on their travels, having scored the second most away goals in the Turkish Super Lig, while they have also failed to score in just one home league game this season.

Team News
Kasimpasa are expected to be without the services of Jeffrey Bruma and Loret Sadiku due to injury issues.
Valentin Eysseric will be unavailable with the 29-year-old suspended after receiving a red card last weekend.
Ben Ouanes is also suspended after being sent off in the cup defeat in midweek.
As for Alanyaspor, they have their own suspension to deal with after Juanfran was shown a straight red card in the league encounter with Galatasaray.
With Juanfran absent, Tayfur Bingol is expected to start Sunday's contest at right-back.
Eduardo has scored three goals in his last four competitive appearances for the side, and he will have the responsibility of leading the line on Sunday.
Kasimpasa possible starting lineup:
Taskiran; Hadergjonaj, Serbest, Brecka, Elmali; Travnik, Haspolat, Hajradinovic; Fall, Engin, Bozok
Alanyaspor possible starting lineup:
Marafona; Bingol, Bayir, Aksoy, Borja; Karaca, Akbaba, Novais, Bekiroglu, Candeias; Eduardo
We say: Kasimpasa 1-3 Alanyaspor
Having fared well on the road this season, while also enjoying a seven-game unbeaten run in all competitions, we think that Alanyaspor will overpower their hosts to claim three more points on Sunday.
