Everton have reportedly identified Blackpool youngster Anthony Weston as a potential new signing.
While a start date for the next transfer window remains unclear, it has not stopped clubs from considering targets for later in 2020.
According to The Sun, Everton are giving thought to making an approach for Weston, who has only recently made his first-team debut.
Although the 16-year-old has not featured since the game against Maidstone in the FA Cup, the teenager is wanted by several clubs.
Leeds United and Rangers are also said to be monitoring the situation ahead of a possible bid during the summer.
