Leicester City have reportedly targeted Paul Ince as a possible replacement for under-pressure manager Nigel Pearson.
The Foxes have slipped from second to seventh in the Championship after just one win from their last 11 matches, leading to speculation that the 49-year-old could be about to lose his job.
He was appointed for his second spell in charge at the King Power Stadium in November 2011.
According to The Mirror, Pearson will be sacked before Saturday's trip to face Brighton & Hove Albion, with Blackpool boss Ince being lined up as his successor.
The 45-year-old took the reins at Bloomfield Road in February.
