Russell Slade's Leyton Orient side make it eight goals in two games with their win over Shrewsbury, while Peterborough and Bradford also enjoy comfortable wins.

Leyton Orient have continued their free-scoring start to the new League One season with a 3-0 victory over Shrewsbury at Brisbane Road.

The hosts, who enjoyed a 5-1 victory over Carlisle United last week, looked to be in top form once more, with David Mooney grabbing a brace before Moses Odjubajo added gloss to the scoreline in stoppage time.

Peterborough United have also collected maximum points from their opening two games thus far following a comfortable 4-2 victory over Notts County.

The Posh were forced to come from a goal behind, though, as skipper Tommy Rowe cancelled out Dean Leacock's 26th-minute header, before Tyrone Barnett, Grant McCann and Britt Assombalonga all scored to secure the points.

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bradford City were also in four-star form throughout the afternoon, as both Gillingham and Carlisle were dispatched 4-0 by the respective sides.

Elsewhere in England's third tier, Crawley Town were denied a second straight victory after Ryan Lowe's last-gasp strike for Tranmere settled a pulsating 3-3 thriller at Prenton Park.

Results in full: Bradford City 4-0 Carlisle United, Brentford 3-1 Sheffield United, Colchester 1-0 Port Vale, Leyton Orient 3-0 Shrewsbury, MK Dons 1-0 Crewe Alexandra, Notts Co. 2-4 Peterborough United, Oldham Athletic 0-1 Walsall, Rotherham 0-0 Preston, Swindon 1-0 Stevenage, Tranmere 3-3 Crawley, Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 Gillingham.
