Celtic manager Neil Lennon believes that Luis Suarez's bite on Branislav Ivanovic could be the final straw for Liverpool.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon believes that Liverpool could part ways with striker Luis Suarez this summer following another moment of controversy from the Uruguayan.

The 26-year-old managed to net a late equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Anfield yesterday, but the frontman has made headlines for biting defender Branislav Ivanovic on the arm during the second half.

Following the controversial incident, there have been suggestions that Liverpool, who condemned Suarez's actions, could sell the forward at the end of the season.

"It is a very strange thing, I have never seen anything like it, but I understand that he has previous for it," Lennon told BBC Radio Five Live. "A club like Liverpool with the tradition and discipline it sets might mean that it is one too many."

The Football Association are currently investigating the incident and could impose a lengthy ban on the striker.
