Liverpool are reportedly keeping track of Hamburger SV defender Dennis Aogo, with one eye on the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old was thought to have been poised to join Schalke 04 on a permanent basis at the end of the loan move he is currently on.
However, Aogo, who is said to be available for £2.5m, is open to looking elsewhere, which has prompted Liverpool to consider a bid for the defender, according to Bild.
Bayer Leverkusen and AS Roma are also said to be interested in the German international.
