Liverpool 'not looking to sell Divock Origi in January'

Liverpool will not actively look to sell Divock Origi during the January transfer window, according to a report.

Liverpool are reportedly not planning on selling Divock Origi during the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old's future has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks, with both Wolverhampton Wanderers and Inter Milan said to be keen on a mid-season deal.

Origi has only scored once in eight appearances for the Reds this term, while he has played just seven minutes of Premier League football, having fallen down the pecking order.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the Reds will not push to sell the Belgium international during the winter window, but the club would not stand in his way if a suitable offer arrived.

Origi played the final minute of Liverpool's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion on December 27 but was an unused substitute against Newcastle United on Wednesday night.

The forward has netted 35 goals and registered 13 assists in 148 games for Jurgen Klopp's side.
