Report: Cristian Tello could remain if Gerardo Martino leaves

A report claims that Spanish winger Cristian Tello could stay with Barcelona this summer if current boss Gerardo Martino departs.

Cristian Tello could reportedly stay with Barcelona this summer if current boss Gerardo Martino departs.

The 22-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest talents in La Liga but has struggled to hold down a first-team role at the Camp Nou this season.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Tello has a strained relationship with Martino and is certain to leave at the end of the season if the Argentine remains with the Spanish champions.

However, the same report has claimed that Tello could be talked into staying depending on who takes the managerial position in Catalonia.

Tello, who has started just six times this season, has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool.
