Nottingham Forest and Manchester City announce their teams for Saturday's Premier League game at the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest and Manchester City have announced their starting lineups for Saturday's Premier League game.

With just one point separating the third and fourth-placed teams in the standings, the showdown at the City Ground could prove pivotal in the race for Champions League qualification.

Having tinkered with his side for last weekend's FA Cup tie with Plymouth Argyle, Man City boss Pep Guardiola has made a total of nine alterations.

Bernardo Silva and Phil Foden are the only two players to retain their spots in the team, with Vitor Reis - as expected - the player to miss out in the centre of defence.

Abdukodir Khusanov partners Ruben Dias in the middle of the backline, while Matheus Nunes gets the nod over Rico Lewis at right-back.

With Bernardo moving in-field, Kevin De Bruyne is left on the substitutes' bench, and Savinho and Jeremy Doku have been selected on the flanks as support for Erling Haaland.

No surprises with Forest XI

Meanwhile, Nuno Espirito Santo has reverted back to the Nottingham Forest starting lineup from the goalless draw with Arsenal 10 days ago.

Changes had been made for the FA Cup tie with Ipswich Town on Monday evening, the likes of Morato and Ryan Yates among those who were handed opportunities.

However, alongside those two, Ibrahim Sangare and Danilo also drop down to the substitutes' bench with Alex Moreno also among the replacements.

Nottingham Forest XI: Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Williams; Anderson, Dominguez; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood
Subs: Hennessey, Morato, Sangare, Awoniyi, Moreno, Jota, Yates, Danilo, Boly

Manchester City XI: Ederson; Nunes, Khusanov, Dias, Gvardiol; Gonzalez, Bernardo; Savinho, Foden, Doku; Haaland
Subs: Ortega Moreno, Marmoush, Kovacic, Grealish, De Bruyne, Gundogan, Reis, O'Reilly, Lewis
