Manchester City reportedly plan to give Gabriel Jesus a pay rise after securing new contracts for David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne.

Manchester City are reportedly planning to give Gabriel Jesus a pay rise after an impressive start to his career at the Etihad Stadium.

Since joining the two-time Premier League champions in January last year, the Brazilian has scored 12 goals in 15 starts, establishing himself as a crucial member of Pep Guardiola's team.

According to The Telegraph, club bosses feel that Jesus's value has risen since his £27m transfer and intend to reward him financially by making changes to his contract, which is believed to be worth £70,000 a week.

The report claims that City will address the 20-year-old's deal after they have secured extensions for David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne.

Silva is expected to add another year to his current contract, while his Belgian teammate looks to double his salary.
