Jose Mourinho: 'I'm unfazed by boos from Manchester United supporters'

Manager Jose Mourinho says that he remains unfazed after being booed by Manchester United supporters at the full-time whistle of their Champions League exit to Sevilla.

Manager Jose Mourinho has suggested that he remains unfazed after being booed as Manchester United made an early exit from the Champions League.

On Tuesday night, United succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Sevilla to miss out on a place in the quarter-finals, and Mourinho was heavily criticised for his tactics against the Spanish outfit.

However, Mourinho has said that he will "not run away" from his responsibilities at Old Trafford as United are left with the FA Cup as their only realistic chance for a trophy this season.

At a press conference, the 55-year-old told reporters: "I am not going to run away or disappear or to cry because I heard a few boos, I'm not going to disappear from the tunnel, running immediately, the next match I will be the first to go out. I am not afraid of my responsibilities.

"When I was 20 i was nobody in football, I was somebody's son, with a lot of pride, and now with 55 I am what I am I did what I did because of work and because of talent and my mentality."

United play host to Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Saturday evening.
