Chelsea plot move for Santos youngster Gabriel Barbosa?

Chelsea are reportedly ahead of Manchester United and Arsenal in the race to sign Santos's teenage striker Gabriel Barbosa.

Chelsea have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Santos's young striker Gabriel Barbosa.

The 19-year-old has spearheaded the Brazilian club's attack since Neymar departed for Barcelona in the summer of 2014.

According to The Sun, his return of 46 goals in 128 appearances for the Vila Belmiro outfit has captured the attention of Chelsea's scouting team.

The report adds that Manchester United and Arsenal have also been tracking the teenager, but it is the Blues that currently lead the race.

It is believed that Barbosa scored over 600 goals for Santos at youth level.
