Juventus leading race to sign Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata?

Juventus reportedly emerge as the new favourites to sign Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata during the summer.

Juventus have reportedly identified Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata as a summer transfer target.

Mata has enjoyed a productive five-and-a-half years at Old Trafford, but the Spaniard is expected to leave the club when his contract expires in the summer.

Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Arsenal have previously been linked with the playmaker, but according to reports in Spain, Juventus are ready to make a move for the 30-year-old.

The report claims that Cristiano Ronaldo is in favour of the signing, while Juventus are also prepared to offer Mata a lucrative deal.

Mata has netted five times from 30 outings in all competitions this season, although 11 of those appearances have come from the substitutes' bench.
