Report: Fenerbahce preparing Juan Mata bid

A report claims that Turkish giants Fenerbahce want to sign Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata at the end of the season.

Fenerbahce are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata.

The Spanish international joined Man United from Chelsea in January 2013 and has scored 24 times for the Red Devils, including eight goals this season.

The attacker has been a regular under Louis van Gaal, but Jose Mourinho's expected arrival at Old Trafford could see the 27-year-old leave Old Trafford.

Mourinho, who has been strongly linked with the managerial role at Man United, sold Mata to the 20-time English champions, and according to AS, Fenerbahce are confident of turning the Spaniard's head with the offer of a lucrative contract.

Fenerbahce, who are currently second in their domestic table behind Besiktas, raided Man United for Robin van Persie and Nani last summer.
