Head coach Thomas Tuchel suggests that there are no immediate plans for any players to be sold or leave on loan over the coming days.

Head coach Thomas Tuchel has revealed that he does not expect any players to depart Chelsea in the short term.

At a time when the Blues are being heavily linked with a wide array of players, speculation persists that a number of first-team members will also head out of the door.

Christian Pulisic has been heavily linked with the likes of Manchester United, while Callum Hudson-Odoi allegedly has admirers at the likes of Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund.

Meanwhile, AC Milan are said to remain an option for Hakim Ziyech, with city rivals Inter Milan reportedly open to signing Trevoh Chalobah.

However, speaking to reporters at a press conference on Friday, Tuchel has suggested that he is not prepared to give the green light to any departures at this stage.

Tuchel said: "Yes, I know there is a lot of talk. First of all, we will not comment on our players, and we will not encourage our players to go out at the moment.

"We had two training sessions with 18 players. In a schedule where we play once a week, it is not a problem. If I look a little higher at the schedule, that is coming with Southampton in the week and two Champions League fixtures. It is coming.

"We will need a lot of players and a lot of quality players to be competitive. So, at the moment, like I say, we have what we have, we know what we are looking for, and from there we go. Only from there can we think about letting players go."

Tuchel also revealed at the press conference that N'Golo Kante would be missing for a number of weeks due to the hamstring injury that he sustained against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

Furthermore, Mateo Kovacic remains sidelined with a knee injury, and Armando Broja has been ruled out of the Leeds United fixture with a minor issue.

Pulisic has also missed a number of training sessions this week, but made his return on Friday to put himself in contention for a spot in the squad at Elland Road.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have announced that they have completed the signing of Inter Milan youngster Cesare Casadei.

As it stands, however, the 19-year-old is expected to feature in the Under-21s setup rather than in the senior ranks.
