FC United of Manchester have won the EvoStik Northern Premier after they recorded a 1-0 victory over Stourbridge on Tuesday evening.
In recent weeks, the club have come under pressure from Workington, who they travel to on Saturday afternoon, but a last-day decider was avoided after Greg Daniels scored the decisive goal on 69 minutes.
The result ends their seven-year stay in the division, with the club missing out in the playoffs in three of the last four seasons before finally securing promotion in the West Midlands.
The step up to the National League North will also mark the first season at their new ground Broadhurst Park.
