Neil Adams concerned by interest in Norwich City players

Neil Adams admits that the battle to keep key players this summer is not over for Norwich City.

Norwich City manager Neil Adams has admitted that the club face a battle to keep other sides from coming in for their key players this summer.

Adams has repeatedly signalled his intention to keep the majority of the squad following relegation from the Premier League last season, and he is optimistic that the Canaries can fight off interest from other clubs.

"I don't really want to talk about individual players because that can attract interest from other clubs, and we don't want to give others a competitive advantage or give things away when you are dealing with transfers," the Norwich boss told the Pink Un prior to their tour of Italy.

"It is fairly clear there will be players here who will be attractive to other clubs.

"I appreciate supporters and the media want to know these things, but we don't want to end up in a situation where we give the game away. That applies to all the lads, not just the ones here or at home."

Norwich begin their Championship campaign against Wolverhampton Wanderers on August 10.
