Damiano Zanon tried to give the away side the lead just before half time, but his strike was wide of the mark.

D'Agostino had the first effort of the second half, hitting his shot just wide on 48 minutes.

Andrea Dossena and Gianluca Caprari came close for the home side on the hour mark, but could not find the finish to grab the lead.

Pescara then took the lead on 73 minutes through a fine header from Birkir Bjarnason, but Fabbrini found the equaliser for Palermo on 80 minutes.

Rios came close on 84 minutes as the home side pushed for a late winner but in vain.
