Guy Whittingham hails "pleasing" performance

Guy Whittingham says that Portsmouth need to keep working hard after the win against Rochdale on Saturday.

Portsmouth manager Guy Whittingham has revealed his pleasure with their 3-0 win over Rochdale yesterday.

Pompey ran out comfortable winners with goals from Jed Wallace and a double from Bondz N'Gala.

"It was a pleasing performance. To go out and work hard is a minimum requirement for any team," Whittingham told The News. "We went out there and did that and we knew we needed to improve on that.

"We were full of work throughout the team and that's what you should have week-in, week-out."

Pompey are now 15th in League Two with 12 points.
