Rangers will not be included when the Scottish Premier League fixtures for the new season are announced tomorrow morning.

Instead, "Club 12" will appear on the official list as the governing body goes ahead with the release date as planned.

Rangers' participation in the league next season is currently in doubt as the club near liquidation.

That means the club will have to submit an application to be accepted into the division, which will then be voted on by the remaining clubs.

The Gers need eight votes in their favour to play football in the top flight next season.
