Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he is impressed by Kaka in pre-season training.
The Brazilian midfielder has struggled during his first four years in La Liga following a big-money move from AC Milan in 2009.
The 31-year-old has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Madrid, but Ancelotti believes that he still has plenty to offer.
"Kaka is a Real Madrid player like all the others," Eurosport.co.uk quotes Ancelotti as saying.
"He has started work well and it is clear that he has a lot of confidence for this season and a lot of motivation.
"Later we'll see what happens. Kaka is a player with a lot of character and he wants to do better than last season."
Kaka scored four goals in 25 games for Los Blancos last season.
