Bayern Munich chief: "No chance" of summer exit for Robert Lewandowski

The man in charge of Bayern Munich's transfer activity, Michael Reschke, tells Real Madrid to forget about making an approach for striker Robert Lewandowski this summer.

Bayern Munich technical director Michael Reschke has categorically ruled out a summer sale of star striker Robert Lewandowski by claiming that there is "no chance" of a deal being agreed.

The Poland international, who has spent the last two seasons at the Allianz Arena, has been heavily linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid in recent weeks.

Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insisted last month that no offer could prise the former Borussia Dortmund striker away from the club, however, and Reschke has now echoed these thoughts.

"He's going to be playing for Bayern Munich again next season, there's absolutely no doubt about it," he told Italy's Radio CRC.

"He still has three years on his contract here and we know that we have the best striker in the world in our squad. That is why there is no chance that he will be sold."

Lewandowski scored 74 goals in 131 appearances for Dortmund, before making a controversial switch to Bayern on a free transfer in 2014 where he has since struck 47 times.
