Domenico Berardi strike downs Chievo

Domenico Berardi scores from the penalty spot as Sassuolo survive the second-half dismissal of Federico Peluso to beat Chievo 1-0 in their Serie A meeting.

It was the visitors who almost the opening when Riccardo Meggiorini was picked out by Ezequiel Schelotto, only to crash a volley onto the bar.

However, just a minute later, Alessandro Gamberini brought down Berardi inside the box and the striker stepped up to convert the resulting penalty.
