Tamika Mkandawire returns to training

Tamika Mkandawire could return for Shrewsbury Town's clash against Bradford City at the weekend.

Tamika Mkandawire could be in line for a return to the Shrewsbury Town side for Saturday's clash against Bradford City, according to the club's manager Graham Turner.

The centre-back, who has been out of action since the beginning of the month with a hamstring injury, returned to full training this week.

Turner told the club's official website: "Tam's in full training now so we will see how the week pans out. Whether he will be available for the squad on Saturday remains to be seen.

"We have a reserve game next week against Wigan and I would expect John Marsden to take part in that game and for Tam to be available for that one. We've got an open mind to see whether he's ready for Saturday."

John Marsden could also return for the hosts.
