Ange Postecoglou remains coy over reports linking him with the manager's job at Tottenham Hotspur, with the Celtic boss focusing on winning a treble with the Hoops.

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has brushed off speculation linking him to taking the reins at Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur for next season.

The Australian has guided the Hoops to the Scottish Premiership title this season and could complete the domestic treble when they face Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish FA Cup final next weekend at Celtic Park.

A move to the Premier League would be a significant jump for a manager who had only coached in Australia and Japan before arriving in Scotland two years ago, however the 57-year-old has played down a possible departure from his current club.

"I've been asked about these things plenty of times, what's important for me is the here and now. I've never planned anything in my football career," Postecoglou told Sky Sports News prior to Celtic's clash with Aberdeen.

"My ambitions right now are to enjoy tomorrow [Saturday], have a good game and then try and win a cup final and make it a special season.

"It's not every year you get the opportunity to win a treble and if anyone thinks I'm thinking anything other than that they don't know me."

Spurs' hunt for Antonio Conte's successor looks set to go on - Feyenoord boss Arne Slot this week announced that he would not be leaving the Eredivisie champions amid links to North London, since signing a new contract in Rotterdam.
