Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino: 'We're not under pressure'

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino says that his team are not under "pressure", despite being just two points off first in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that he and his players are not feeling under any "pressure", despite being just two points off the top spot in the Premier League.

The North London outfit strengthened their title bid at the weekend when they came from behind to seal a 2-1 win over Swansea City.

Leicester City currently lead the way at the top of the standings, while Spurs' arch rivals Arsenal reside third, five points adrift of first.

"I think we're in a good place, but for us it is always the same - we just try to win the next game," Pochettino said in Tuesday's press conference.

"Leicester are top and have the pressure, as do all the teams below, but we aren't feeling any pressure. We just need to keep our level and see what happens. It is too early to predict the end.

"At the beginning of the season our objective was to reduce the gap with the team that was at the top. We've learned a lot and have improved a lot, but we need to keep fighting. We're in a very good position, but there are still 11 games to play."

Spurs will face West Ham United at Upton Park on Wednesday.
