Garry O'Connor close to Selkirk move?

Lowland League club Selkirk are reportedly on the verge of securing the services of former Scotland international Garry O'Connor.

Former Birmingham City striker Garry O'Connor is reportedly close to signing for Lowland League club Selkirk.

The 31-year-old has been without a team since he was released by Greenock Morton earlier this year.

However, he will attend Selkirk's friendly encounter with a Hibernian XI this evening, when he is expected to put the finishing touches to his transfer, according to Edinburgh News.

O'Connor, who has been capped 16 times by Scotland, has also played for Hibs, Lokomotiv Moscow, Barnsley and Tom Tomsk.
