Jonathan de Guzman will reportedly undergo a medical ahead of his proposed move to Napoli later this week.
The Villarreal midfielder, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at Swansea City, is believed to have agreed personal terms with the Serie A side.
According to Football Italia, the Netherlands international will undergo a medical with the club on Wednesday, with a fee of around €6m (£4.8m) thought to have been agreed.
Swansea manager Garry Monk admitted earlier this month that he was not optimistic of bringing De Guzman back to the Liberty Stadium.
