Troy Deeney: 'Watford don't fear anyone'

Watford skipper Troy Deeney insists that his side fear no-one after a 3-0 victory over Liverpool made it four wins on the bounce.

Watford captain Troy Deeney has insisted that his side fear no-one as they continue to impress in the Premier League this season.

The Hornets extended their club-record top-flight winning streak to four games with a memorable 3-0 triumph over Liverpool at Vicarage Road this evening, a result that takes them to within one point of the top four.

Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City await Watford in their next three games, but Deeney stressed that they are confident of holding their own against any of the big boys in the division.

"That's four wins in a row which is massive in the Premier League and starts our so-called tough run that everyone is talking about," he told Sky Sports News.

"We show no fear against anyone. If Leicester are still talking about getting to 40 points, so are we. We'll see about this top-four nonsense in March."

Watford have now won four top-flight games in a row for the first time since April 1987, and back-to-back home games in the Premier League for the first time ever.
