Wrexham defender Steve Tomassen has signed a new contract with the Conference club.
The 21-year-old found starting opportunities hard to come by earlier on this season, but since the turn of the year he has been Kevin Wilkin's regular right-back.
His performances since then have impressed enough to earn him extended terms, which have tied him to the Racecourse Ground until the summer of 2016.
"I am delighted to have signed a new contract with Wrexham. I feel things are going in the right direction and are good at the moment," he told the club's official website.
"You have to go out and play like every game could be your last, so you have to prove yourself each week to keep your shirt, which I hope is what I'm doing."
Tomassen made his Wrexham debut back in 2011.
