Veteran striker Filippo Inzaghi has been made to train away from the AC Milan first-team squad, coach Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed.
The 38-year-old, who has made just three appearances this season, has fallen down the pecking order at the San Siro behind the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Alexandre Pato and Stephan El Shaarawy.
"I am sorry for him," Allegri told Sky Sport 24. "He is a player who is part of Milan's history, he has shown great enthusiasm, but I have to make choices.
"He has not been training with the team for some time and he is not in my plans because of this, he is not available."
Inzaghi joined the Rossoneri in 2001 from Juventus.
