After winning five and drawing one of their opening seven league matches, Adana Demirspor will have high aspirations for what can be achieved this season.

A 4-2 defeat to Fenerbahce is the only blemish on their report card this term, but they have responded to that setback in a positive fashion, collecting 10 points from a possible 12.

In their last two outings, they have beaten reigning Turkish champions Trabzonspor 3-2 before cruising to a commanding 3-0 win over Antalyaspor.

Younes Belhanda, Fredrik Gulbrandsen and Britt Assombalonga all found the net against Antalyaspor, helping their side score three goals in a game for the fourth time in their opening seven matches.

Although Adana Demirspor face a tough test on Saturday, a win would over Galatasaray would put them firmly in the hunt for the title.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray enter the contest in superb form after bouncing back from a defeat to Giresunspor by embarking on a five-match unbeaten run.

Impressively, their last three matches have resulted in maximum points, including their most recent fixture against Konyaspor.

Adana Demirspor will be unable to call upon the suspended Yaroslav Rakitsky following his dismissal in the 3-0 victory over Antalyaspor.

With Rakitsky unavailable for the hosts, Vincenzo Montella is expected to bring Semih Guler into the backline to partner Samet Akaydin in the centre of defence.

Gulbrandsen scored his first Adana Demirspor last time out, and the new signing could be rewarded with his first start for the club.

As for the visitors, Leo Dubois could also make his first start after playing 81 minutes in a friendly against Istanbulspor over the international break.

Mauro Icardi and Juan Mata also featured in the 2-1 friendly victory after recently signing for Galatasaray, but the pair may have to settle for places on the bench as they wait patiently for their debuts.
