Arsene Wenger says that he is confused by fans who question his "commitment and dedication" to Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger has said that he is confused by fans who question his "commitment and dedication" to Arsenal.

The Emirates faithful booed Wenger at the interval of yesterday's 3-2 FA Cup win over Aston Villa, as they were two goals down going into the second half.

"I felt they (Arsenal fans) were quite positive compared to last time. Maybe because we're just coming out of a bad period," Wenger said.

"I'm sad we can't always keep them happy. The only thing we can do is to show the spirit we showed today. I must tell you I just want to do well for this club that I love.

"I understand that people question my decisions. I wouldn't understand they question my commitment and dedication to this club. I understand they're unhappy sometimes with the decisions I make."

Arsenal will face either Middlesbrough or Sunderland in the fifth round of the competition.
