Kim Kallstrom 'close to Arsenal debut'

A report says that Arsenal's Kim Kallstrom has told the Swedish FA's medical staff that he is "close to being fit".

Kim Kallstrom is nearing full fitness and could make his Arsenal debut in Saturday's FA Cup match against Everton, according to a report.

The midfielder joined the Gunners on loan on transfer deadline day, but it soon became clear that he was not fully fit.

Arsene Wenger then admitted that he knew of Kallstrom's back injury before he put pen to paper.

However, Kallstrom has reportedly told the Swedish FA's medical staff that he is "close to being fit", The Mirror claims.

The report also adds that Aaron Ramsey, who is out with a thigh problem, could be back for the derby match against Tottenham Hotspur later this month.
