Sead Kolasinac wary of Mohamed Salah, Liverpool threat

Arsenal wing-back Sead Kolasinac says that he is wary of Liverpool's attacking options, namely Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah, ahead of Friday's meeting between the clubs.

Arsenal wing-back Sead Kolasinac has said that he is wary of Liverpool's attacking options, namely Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah, ahead of the meeting between the sides on Friday.

Salah, who has netted 14 Premier League goals already this term, scored the Reds' third in Liverpool's 4-0 win over the Gunners in August.

Kolasinac is expected to go up against Salah on Friday night, and the Bosnian has admitted that Jurgen Klopp's attacking quartet will pose a significant threat.

"When you look at the four [Liverpool] have in their attack (Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho) and the players on the bench they are all great quality," Kolasinac told Arsenal's club website.

"They all have a lot of pace. You cannot to give them any space, you know if someone is faster than you can't give them space. If their front players are able to utilise their pace it will be difficult to catch them, before they get the ball we need to be tight to them.

"If you know someone is faster than you, don't give them any space, get tight and prevent them from having an opportunity to use their pace. That will be decisive. If their front players are able to utilise their speed, it will be tough to catch them."

Liverpool and Arsenal are fourth and fifth in the Premier League respectively and are separated by just a point.
