Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is delighted after scoring his first Premier League goals in Arsenal's 7-1 demolition of Blackburn Rovers.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain admitted that he had 'waited for a day like this' after he scored his first Premier League goals in Arsenal's 7-1 mauling of Blackburn Rovers.

The winger netted twice at the Emirates Stadium, along with a Robin van Persie hat-trick and strikes from Mikel Arteta and Thierry Henry.

"It's always nice to get on the goalsheet and obviously in the Premier League," he told BBC Sport.

"I've been waiting for a day like this and to get two at the same time is very nice."

The Gunners are now fifth in the table after the win.
