Mesut Ozil: 'Arsenal good enough to beat any Premier League team'

Arsenal ace Mesut Ozil acknowledges that his side must pick up victory against Manchester United this weekend to prove they have what it takes to win the title.

Mesut Ozil has claimed that Arsenal "have the quality to beat any team" in the Premier League, as they gear up for next weekend's huge showdown with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The Gunners are currently fourth in the table, two points off pacesetters Liverpool after drawing two of their three games prior to the international break.

Despite hitting a sticky patch of form in the top flight, Ozil is confident that Arsenal have what it takes to open up the gap on rivals United to nine points on Saturday afternoon by earning a first league win at the Theatre of Dreams in more than a decade.

"We have the quality to beat any team and that is what we want to show this season," he told the club's official website. "We need to win every game, get as many points as possible and also be successful against the big teams, like we were against Chelsea.

"You can see that the big clubs at the top have quality and that we have to win every game because of how tight it is at the top. Our goal has to be to look at ourselves. If we win the games, we will be at the top at the end."

Arsenal fell to a 3-2 reverse at Old Trafford last term, with their last triumph away at United coming in September 2006 thanks to Emmanuel Adebayor's winner.
