Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has declared this his new-found composure in front of goal is down to confidence gained from an impressive start to the season.
Ramsey scored his 11th goal of the season for club and country yesterday, coming off the bench to net in Arsenal's 4-1 win over Norwich City.
The Welshman, who dummied inside two Norwich defenders to create his scoring opportunity at the Emirates Stadium, insists that he now has the confidence and composure to make things happen in the final third.
He told the club's official website: "I saw the two defenders come rushing out so I thought I'd pretend to shoot and then obviously I was inside the six-yard box.
"I saw another defender come towards me so I pretended to shoot again and then put it past the goalkeeper.
"I'm just confident at the moment. Confidence is such a massive thing and I feel composed in front of goal at the moment and I'm taking my chances."
The 22-year-old has five Premier League goals for the Gunners in eight games, helping Arsene Wenger's side sit top of the table.
