Arsene Wenger: 'Manchester City game will say a lot about Arsenal's quality'

Arsene Wenger says that Arsenal's game against Manchester City on Sunday will help them evaluate how well they can do in the Premier League.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that his side's Premier League clash with Manchester City on Sunday will say "a lot" about their quality.

The Gunners will head to the Etihad Stadium level on points with the defending English champions after four rounds of matches.

"I am very ambitious and I know that before the game starts," he is quoted as saying on Arsenal's official website. "It will tell us a lot about our quality.

"How we handle the big games will decide how well we do in the championship. That is why it is an interesting weekend for us.

"I have no doubt about the desire and hunger of my squad. It will just tell you how strong we are at the moment."

Wenger added that he has confidence in his players to collect maximum points against Roberto Mancini's side.

"I believe we are quite strong but we have some room for improvement," said the Frenchman. "All is not perfect but the signs we are giving are very good and very strong.

"The hunger is massive in this squad. They want to do well. They are focused. They want to win.

"We want to continue to improve because we have many new players. It is a big test to see how strong we are."

Arsenal are unbeaten in the league so far and have conceded just one goal.
