Arsene Wenger: 'Arsenal have desire to win title'

Arsene Wenger claims that Arsenal have the desire to win the Premier League title this season.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that his players have the desire to win the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners moved four points clear at the top of the table on Saturday thanks to a 2-0 victory at home to Southampton.

"We have a long way to go, but we have the ambition, the focus, the concentration and the desire are there," Eurosport quotes Wenger as saying.

"We played against a good Southampton side today who tried to stop us from playing. They did it well and in the end we couldn't take our chances, but we took advantage of their two mistakes."

Arsenal return to Champions League action on Tuesday when they host Marseille at the Emirates Stadium.
