Arsene Wenger: 'Joel Campbell is part of my plans'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger reveals that Joel Campbell is part of his plans for the new season following his return from loan.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed that Joel Campbell is part of his plans for the coming season.

The Costa Rica international enjoyed a successful loan spell with Olympiacos last season, before turning in some eye-catching performances for his national side at the World Cup, and Wenger has said that the young forward is in his thinking.

He told reporters: "Yes, [Campbell] is part of my plans. He might play tomorrow against Benfica."

Campbell signed for the Gunners back in 2011 but has yet to make an appearance due to work permit issues.
